Caroling – From room to room, department to department or one great big sing-a-long.

Handmade Gifts – In my opinion, The best gifts are handmade with ones personal LOVE. Something as simple as filling an empty jar with candy, or something more elaborate like a knitted scarf or quilt. Use your skills and create a one of a kind gift.

Holiday Baking – The process of baking, decorating and enjoying the finished product can be very therapeutic and enjoyable. Use simple recipes to avoid any frustration and make sure to help with the measuring and mixing.

Holiday Decorating – Put up decorations TOGETHER! Get into the Holiday Spirit of the season and this also help to stimulate High Energy with TONS of Smiles. Make a wreath for your door, room, facility. Use organizers to keep your decorations safe. Here are some ideas

Holiday Traditions – Everyone connects with routines and sharing their holiday traditions from baking a specific type of cookie or cake, making a celebratory meal for breakfast on Christmas day or the day with relatives. Share Some Love – Call around "ASKING" the Community, Thrift Shops, Churches, Non-Profit Organizations, County/City/State for donations! Activities are a HUGE Budget and who isn't cost conscious? Reach out and let your community know you love Volunteers if this is allowed and any left overs or DONATIONS are most welcome. The holidays tend to bring out the good side in all of us.

Go Shopping – Whether you live near a mall or a small downtown or town center, it will likely be decorated for the holidays. What a wonderful treat to just visit these places, stop for some coffee or tea or do a little holiday shopping. I would just recommend to do this during off hours to avoid over-stimulation. Check out on Google for where to go for any local holiday shopping

Make a Raffle Basket to Auction Off Raising Money for Activities – Fun project where everyone contributes or each one contributes a basket. Each basket relates to the Holiday or Special Occasion.

Stay Connected – Use technology to stay in touch with friends and family, or join an online support group. Video chats with Echo Show or Facetime, etc. can be a wonderful way to get in touch and keep in touch with loved ones. Echo Show is great for video calls and much more.

Set a Special Table – Christmas dinner or any special holiday dinner deserves a great table setting. Have fun with it and get creative! From the table covering, place setting, napkins, drinks and center piece.
