FHCACA Mascot
F.H.C.A.C.A. Mascot

The Peacock will serve as FHCACA Mascot. You will see her continually bringing updates and messages to the members, through the web site, newsline and much more. The peacock symbolizes connection... connecting the dots which means we want to be connected to our members. It will also be a reminder of who we are and the many ways we can provide information and ways of improving services to those we serve. It will connect us with our long term strategies, vision, goals and outcomes.
When you see the peacock you can expect to find new information on FHCACA's bright and innovative ideas. We are committed to our future. We believe our greatest strength is our members and their experience.
When you see the peacock you can expect to find information....
I want to congratulate Sharon Dawkins President of District X for coming up with a symbol for our new mascot.
She compared the peacock and the activity coordinator as very much alike. For instance, both are colorful and vibrant beings. Upon entering their domain, each demands the attention of onlookers and other participants that are around their presence. Just their mere appearance can brighten a room and make you smile at the array of colors and spectacular display of beauty in their lively spirit and extroverted personality. Also, both exudes pride and confidence in their daily duties, as for the peacock will hold up its chest as it walks proudly in its territory while the activity coordinator proudly displays his or her gifted talents and creative skills among resident and constituents on the job. As the peacock spreads its tail to display it magnificent plumage likewise the activity coordinator speaks hi or her arms to show love, support, and compassion for his or her residents.
